Travel Tips

Airplane Travel

-Do not dose maintenance or treatment foods 4 hours prior to boarding a plane.
-When leaving your appointment, you should have at least 4 hours after the end of the appointment to board an airplane.
– After your appointment, we prefer that you board an airplane the next day in case of any delayed reactions.

Car Travel
-It would be best not to do any dosing and start a long car ride.
-It would be better to wait until they are in a non-moving environment to do any
dosing.

Gummy Care
-If dosing with gummies, be sure to carry your gummies in a light-tight container. DO NOT expose to direct sunlight.

Travel Letter
-We can provide a travel letter for medications, slit, and foods.
-Go to the FAI website and under the TIP Connect tab is the forms and letter submission area. You can follow the instructions to request any forms and letters from us.

Scenario Medications
-Whenever you travel away from your house, you should carry all 3 scenario kits
in case of an accidental exposure or reaction.
SLIT

-When traveling with SLIT, it would be best to remove the sprayer and replace it
with the cap that the slit originally came with. The sprayer can sometimes leak.
