SUMMARY

The Launch visit is broken down into 2-5 days. The first day is the patch day, where our providers place a patch containing physical allergens on your child’s back. It takes approximately 30 minutes to place the patch. Your child will need to keep it on until they return to our clinic the following day.

On the second day, we review your snapshot. This visit lasts 2-3 hours. During this visit, a physician will review your child’s treatment plan, food dosing strategy, at-home dosing regimen, and anaphylaxis plan with you.

You will also complete your child’s first food challenge. Since each child’s plan is individualized, some patients may need additional days during their Launch visit.
