My Care Plan: New Appointment Check-In Platform!

6/14/22
Many of our patients shared feedback on their patient experience and we listened to your concerns. We are excited to launch an all-new appointment check-in platform called My Care Plan through Qure4u on 6/27/22. With the launch of My Care Plan, patients will have greater convenience and ease in preparing for scheduled visits at the Food Allergy Institute. Here is some important information and what changes to expect with the all-new check-in platform.

NOTE: During your first check-in with My Care Plan, patients will be required to complete all general annual forms, even if they have been submitted this year. After the initial completion of general patient forms, they will be resubmitted on a per usual basis.

Information Regarding Schedule Appointment Check-In:

  • Notifications for completing pre-registration or check-in will now be received 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time, instead of 4 days.
  • Patients will receive a notification link 30 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment, asking you to click arrive when you are ready for your appointment.
  • All email communications will be sent from the Food Allergy Institute.
  • Although downloading an application is not required, it is available for download as MyCarePlan, powered by Qure4U in the Google Play and Apple App Store.

For any questions about this change, please contact our Call Representatives at (562) 490-9900.

SCFAI Expands to San Diego!

3/8/22
The Southern California Food Allergy Institute (SCFAI) opened its doors to their new Satellite Clinic located in Vista, CA which is within San Diego County. The first satellite clinic expansion site in SCFAI history comes after years of continued patient care throughout the pandemic, marking a significant growth in demand for the revolutionizing food allergy and anaphylaxis treatment program.

“For the past 15 years, I have watched thousands of families achieve the dream of food freedom,” says Dr. Inderpal Randhawa, CEO of Southern California Food Allergy Institute. “This expansion into San Diego means more children can safely go to school, more families don’t have to be scared every time they eat at a restaurant, and fewer people will find themselves in the emergency room from a life-threatening reaction.”

Visit our FAQ page to learn more about this expansion.

Willow Clinic Move

5/7/21
The Southern California Food Allergy Institute (SCFAI) today opened the doors to their new Willow Clinic located in Signal Hill, CA. The largest site expansion in SCFAI history, since its founding in 2015, comes after a year of continued patient care throughout the pandemic, marking significant growth in demand for the revolutionizing food allergy and anaphylaxis treatment program.

Known for their Tolerance Induction Program (TIP™), the specialized treatment program is entirely dependent on a patient’s data and uniquely tailored to their food allergy needs. Built on over a decade of diagnostic data collected, with a 99% success rate TIP™ has helped over 10,000 children with food allergies and anaphylaxis achieve true Food Freedom – the ability to eat whatever they want, whenever they want, in unlimited quantities, without fear of reaction.

“The opening of this second clinic is a milestone for our organization,“ said Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Inderpal Randhawa. “We are here with these children every step of the way,” he added, “expanding our resources and team so we can help more children with food allergies achieve a life-changing Food Freedom.”

The new Willow Clinic will be located at 2704 E. Willow Street in Signal Hill, CA, conveniently close to Headquarters and downtown Long Beach. All food challenge visits will take place at the new clinic, providing patients and their families a familiar environment to pass their challenges and safely eat an adult-sized dose of an allergic food.
